The two primary types that you will find are traditional phone directories and reverse phone directories. Don't you just wish there was a way to spy on someone if you found a piece of paper with a phone number on it but no name?
They are still the book picked up when someone has a need. Cell phone search is not available on such free directories, and it is quite understandable why; cellular phone information doesn't fall under the public domain and simply can't be revealed easily. You can search by name, just enter the first name or first name initial, the last name or last name initial, the city or zip code, and the state.
Free directories will only give you landline numbers, not mobile phone numbers. The printed product not only has the line listings of every business in alphabetical order, but also ads that can be torn out and written on, as needed. Forget paying PI's thousands of dollars to find info on your spouse's connections.
Like what was mentioned earlier, free directories will only give you landline numbers and not mobile phone numbers. Most of these directories don't give you the same benefits as a paid reverse phone directory.
